The Modernist Thessaloniki is in the heart of Thessaloniki, in a 1920s heritage building restored in a minimalist style. Boutique shops, restaurants and bars are nearby, and the seafront promenade is a short stroll away. All rooms have parquet floors, a flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioning, a Nespresso machine and a private bathroom, and some have a balcony. Free WiFi is available throughout. Breakfast is served daily on the rooftop terrace, prepared from carefully selected ingredients in the open-plan kitchen. Massages can be arranged on request, and guests get discounted rates at a nearby fitness centre. The 24-hour reception staff speak German, Greek, English and French.
