Overview
Hotel Il Nido Sorrento is a family-run hotel in the Campania countryside outside Sorrento, with views towards Mount Vesuvius. It is not in the town itself: Sorrento is about a 10-minute drive away, and a free shuttle takes guests to the town centre. Wi-Fi and parking are both free. Rooms are elegant and air-conditioned, decorated in light tones with tiled flooring. Room services include a minibar and a flat-screen satellite TV. The on-site restaurant cooks Italian and Neapolitan food from fresh local produce, and its terrace looks out over the surrounding countryside. The coast lies 5 km from the hotel, while Positano can be reached in 20 minutes by bus.
